Q&A

I am now working in Australia. Can my employer apply for an employer sponsored visa for me?

My current employer agrees to sponsor me, but I am not clear about the specific application requirements and procedures -- can AEC communicate with my employer and help with the application?

What is the difference between so many visa categories? Which visa should I choose?

Employer-sponsored (temporary) visas for remote areas (494 categories) are divided into 2 categories:

Employer guarantee

Labor contract

As overseas workers, applicants should meet the following requirements:

The nominated occupations are listed in the relevant technical occupations list

At least 3 years of relevant working experience in the nominated occupation

Complete a technical assessment of the nominated occupation

What AEC can do to help

Applying for an employer's guarantee is a relatively complex process. Not only does the applicant have to meet the relevant requirements, but the employer who provides the guarantee also has to meet different legal requirements. Therefore, it is important and necessary to seek assistance from a professional organization.

AEC's professional immigration team has a wealth of experience in helping employers and applicants successfully go through the entire sponsorship process until they are successfully signed. We can provide free assessment and advice and can complete the nomination application on behalf of the employer.

We would like to remind you not to negotiate with your employer for an employer-sponsored application for an "unreal employment relationship", so as to avoid violating Australian laws and facing huge financial losses and the risk of visa rejection.
